Hi everyone! I have to make about 60 or so cookie pops and was wondering if I would have any problems freezing the baked cookies on sticks. It will save me so much time! I have frozen undecorated cookies before with no problem....I just want to make sure nothing will go wrong with the stick. I am so swamped this week...I would hate to take the cookies out of the freezer on Thursday and not be able to use them because something happened!

I freeze mine all the time. Undipped and on the stick will be fine in the freeze until you are ready to dip them in chocolate. Let them sit for a few minutes before you dip them because you will have trouble with the chocaolate if you dip them right away. The chocolate will crack. HTH

Thanks....that eases my mind!! I won't be dipping them in chocolate, I'm just decorating them with glace and royal icing. But I am glad that I know the stick won't come out while they are thawing. Thanks again!

I freeze cookie pops, too. Never had a problem. But make sure you let them defrost a bit before decorating. If the cookies are still frozen the glace and royal icing may freeze and set before you're finished decorating.
