Does any one know how long chocolate covered oreos keep without getting stale? A friend wants to take some to her daughter's graduation and would need them a week in advance. Thanks

I purposely kept 3 chocolate covered Oreos to see how long they would tast bad. Ate one every two months. The sixth month one was becoming a little soggy like. So, I would say around 4 months.

You can also freeze them. I had some left over from Christmas one year, so I wrapped them really good and stuck them in the freezer and pulled them out 4 or 5 months later to see if they were any good and they tasted like they were just made. These were done with white almond bark and sprinkled with colored sugar. I'm not sure how colored chocolate would freeze though.
