My Babycakes cake pop maker has finally arrived, and I tried it out right away. I loved how fast, and easy it was, although I have one complaint. Out of the 60+ cake pops I got from the batch, MAYBE 5 were perfect circles (or close to it), I found alot of them were perfectly round on one half (the bottom), and mishapened on the top. Whenever I put a dap of extra batter, it would overfill, if I put less it seems like it wasn't enough. Any tips/suggestions?

Thank goodness I'm not the only one that experienced this same thing! I tried EVERYTHING!!! I am thinking that I may return the other 3 makers that I ordered and try the cake roller thing.

Maybe you need to add the right amount of cake. These are calicopurr's cake balls.

I think the cake recipe plays a part in how they cook up and I put the batter in a piping bag and squirt it into the cavaties and as I put the last bit in I pull up on the bag so it is like a peak, then shut the lid and let it cook.. seems to work well for me. Good luck

Thank you! I have 3 machines and I'm going to do this. Haven't had time to play with them yet, but have to make them work because my family does not like the "mushy/dense" ones as they call them. I tried...lol

Didn't like it at all, pops too small, not completely round, so I returned it.
