As almost the whole world knows in the UK we have a Royal Wedding on Friday. In keeping with a UK tradition many villages are holding street parties. I am doing a 3 tier red, white and blue themed cake for our party. The top tier, 6" square, will have the initials "W" & "K" decorated with beads at the rear of the cake but in front of it will be positioned a crown. To get the height differential I am positioning the initials on a raised back tier, but to incorporate the crown I have had to cut out part of a circle on the raised tier. My worry is how do I apply the fondant covering to this tier to incorporate the "cut-out" and raised back tier? I have added the initials to the crumbcoated tier to demonstrate the position.

You can post a link or a photo using photobucket or flickr:
yep, you can copy and paste the img link from photobucket, or if you want to add a photo you don't have in photobucket (like this one) you do the img code
To do the img coding.....
Use a pair of square brackets -> [ ] with the img in them (no spaces) in the beginning, then copy and paste the images url (no space after the last bracket) then use another pair of square brackets [ ] but this time with /img in it. so it would look like this, but I put in the * so it won't actually code
[img*]http://www.cakejournal.com/wp-content/uploads/Chocolate-cake-bites1.jpg[/*img]
if you remove the * then you'll get the picture
But this is if the photo is already online. A quick way to throw a picture online if you don't have an online account, is tinypic.com
If you want a photo to show up in your post, here's how:
First upload the photo into an online photo site like Photobucket (getting a photobucket account is easy and FREE) then just copy the photo's image code (IMG Code) from photobucket and paste it into your post. Then when you hit 'submit comment' the photo will display in the thread. Easy.
Photobucket is here: http://photobucket.com/
I'm pretty sure you can also use Flickr like this too - just look for the image code (IMG code) and copy and paste it.

Aargh - this is a fundamental and necessary function of this website to enable us to share pictures to get answers from other cc'rs. Any idea when this function will be available?
