Looks like Wilton is expanding! Icing sheets in many colors, shape punches, border punches. Lots of ideas on their website.

As a Cricut owner, I'm thinking this could be quite interesting. I know folks have cut icing sheets (not the ones that came from Cricut).

Does Icing Images carry different colors of sheets? I have read many good reviews of their products.

You can use them in a cricut, but they were specifically made for use with the Wilton punches. Not sure what they taste like yet. I haven't cracked open my package.

I like the idea of premade sheets as opposed to trying to roll your own gumpaste out...But I wish you got more than 1 sheet in the package for $4.00....seems a bit high for 1.

Wow, that's a lot of money....I guess they are expensive to make...but...like if you want to cut out a lace panel to go around a whole cake, that would be several sheets. Hm.

I took the plunge and bought a sheet using Michaels' 40% coupon.

I was hit with a wonderful wave of vanilla scent when I opened the package. My impression is, if it tastes as good as it smells, this is a huge bonus.

I cut a Batman logo using my Cricut Expression and it worked like a charm! This really cuts my time down since I didn't have to roll the fondant, let it dry and fidget around with cutting it on my Cricut Cake Mini. Yes, this works on a Cricut expression since there is a backing on the frosting sheet. Will rush out to buy more.

mommynana, what is your link supposed to be to? I clicked on it and it opened my personal email. The link I's seeing on your post is: is for comcast.net? Is that what you posted? This is scary, how did my email address get on your post?

saw lots of the new wilton toys at michaels this weekend, wish I had extra $ to buy stuff during this sale...

I love the patterns and colors from the wilton sheets and they are more expensive but if you are saving time then it is worth the money.

What about the Icing Images? I also hear that there products are good.. and I think they said that they were cheaper than the new wilton or cricut. I have about 6 sheets of the cricut sheets but odd colors (it came with it from HSN). I am going to practice with them...

but would also like to find out the best place to buy these frosting sheets that are good quality and reasonable.
