HI
How do the cookie decorator's get their icing so nice and even on the cookie especially around the edges? I would like to try making some of these soon but don't know if I can get the icing so nice........any tips would be appreciated!
THANKS
Thier is a recipe called royal icing for decoated cookies - one of the members here showed it to me. She does lots of cookies.
Outline your cookies - this should be a littler firm frosting.
Let it dry for a few minutes - so outline all your cookies.
then with the same frosting you will thin it out a little. Put in a bag, start to fill cookie.
here is a link to help you.

Gibson I agree with Leana,
I attempted cookies a couple weekends ago and learned the hard way!!!!!(My icing started dripping over the edges!! ) Now I know to outine first and then add the inside color!!!
