Hi fellow cakers....I am looking to try "pastillage" to create some 3D structures (building storefronts, signs)...and I have heard about this super quick drying "pastillage"...used for food scultures...I have seen some on here used to make "chairs"...dries harder than fondant and sugarpaste. Any assistance would be appreciate...if you can even direct me to a site that has recipes, video instruction???? Help!!!!

There are recipes right here on CC in the recipe section. I just put the term "pastillage" in the search box there and got back 5 recipes. The only thing to watch out for with pastillage is that it dries VERY quickly, so you need to work super-fast on it and keep what you're not working on very tightly covered. I'm just before trying it for a couple of things, too. It's so humid where I live that sometimes not even gumpaste dries as fast and hard as it should.
