I'm in the market for an edible image printer and I'm just trying to get some advise on the best one to buy and what all I need to get started. Thanks in advance! icon_biggrin.gif

The best edible printers are the Canon. THey have the removable printhead which allows you to clean a clog should you get one. I recommend the gold label inks as they are spongeless which allow you to use all the ink in the cartridge while giving you beautiful prints.

Right now, the two best printers are the Canon MP560 which has a scanner and printer all in one unit or the Canon ip3600 which is just the printer. So if you already have a scanner, use the ip3600. If you dont, go with the mp560. Or which ever price is better.

Update on printers, we recently came out with the newer series of printers that have our Elite cartridges. They use the same ink and same greats spongefree cartridges as the gold label, but they fit the new printers. I love the mp560 and ip3600 as explained above, but the newer printers are faster and produce the same great pictures! The new printers are Canon mg5220 and ip4820.

Now all we need is a printer and cutter in one!!!  That would be awesome!

That would be awesome! but it would be a maintenance nightmare! But the Silhouette does have a print and cut feature that is pretty easy to do for the computer literate! But watch our website, we will be coming out with a new product later this year that is absolutely easy wonderful. Stay tuned!
