I have decided to get the ball rolling for all the home cake ladies in Alabama. If you are in Alabama, please message or email me so we can swap info. I will need all the support I can get. I will be finding out which representatives I need to send letters to and schedule meetings with. If anyone has already started this process, please let me know so we can join together in our cause. I am located in southern AL in the city of Mobile.

As of right now, we have recently had a law go through that allows us to bake from our home kitchen to sell at a farmers market, but we need a full fledged Cottage Law to cover those if us who don't wish to go to a farmer's market.

I've never done anything like this so it will be a learning curve, but I am up to the task! thumbs_up.gif I will be circulating a petition as well....as soon as I figure that out LOL

Thanks in advance for support and/or suggestions on how to begin. (Please use CC email.)
Sincerely,
Laura Crownover icon_smile.gif

Hi Laura;

I just recently moved to AL. I'm planning to start a home business. Let me know if I can help.

Psssst. It's a Cottage Food Law. Not a law for cottages. icon_wink.gif
