How long will the homemade MMF last?

And how should I store it?

It can last for a very long time as long as you put it in a air-tight container. Best thing to do is wrap it in plastic wrap and then use a "food saver" vacum bag to take the air out. Or, I've used those ziploc vacum bags you get at the store...they work too. =]
