Do you store them in a fridge or in a cupboard? Do they go bad if stored outside in a humid city? I've been storing them in my fridge but since I have so many, it takes alot of space. Can I store them outside? Will it go bad and ruin it?

I live in Cancún - the humid city to end all humid cities - and I store them in a large, covered plastic bucket in my cupboard. The only reason I use the plastic bucket is to keep them together, by the way. I've never had any of them go bad, either inside or outside of the plastic container.
