I'm trying to make a stainless steel looking crawfish boil cake. I was spraying the white fondant lid with Chefmaster silver spray, but it looks splotchy. I tried to coat it evenly and not stay too long in one spot. I let that dry and applied a second coat to try and correct the spots. It didn't work. Any suggestions? This is for a cake due Saturday, so please help me!!!!

make sure the nozzle isn't clogged, and that you are at least 8 inches away from the cake. this should help minimize the splotching you are experiencing. i don't how to fix the splotches that are already there, though. sorry.
