Ok, I have wondered this for a while and I have to admit that Kate and William have finally brought me to ask the question.

Is there a traditional recipe used for the wedding cake fruit cake in England?

I would love to have a good recipe.

TIA

Cindy

No, people have their own favourites, but a very popular and good one is Delia Smith's recipe, this page gives you the ingredient amounts for several different sizes:

Please note that our fruit cakes are traditionally 2.5-3in in height, so you will need to bake in 3in deep pans.
