Hi! I've been searching for a moist cake with great texture, and I've read posts about using cake mix extender recipes using Dream Whip. Some say they only add a couple of Tbsp. in a cake mix recipe, some use the 4 ingredient version on the back of the Dream Whip box, and some use the recipe that calls for cook and serve pudding mix.....

I'm looking to make a stackable two-layer 9x13" white cake and a stackable two layer 9x13" chocolate cake for a castle cake for my daughter's birthday. If this makes sense, the bottom tier of the cake (the first story) is going to be two- two layer cakes so that it will actually be four layers tall. The bottom layer will be the two layer chocolate, and the top layer will be the two layer white stacked flush atop the chocolate. The cake will be doweled and there will be a foam core board inbetween the chocolate and white, and it will all be covered in fondant.

Is there a Dream Whip cake recipe that will make a WHITE cake? If so, how many egg whites should I use and should I include some other type of fat since I will be removing all the yolks out of the recipe? What is the best version of the Dream Whip recipe, and are Dream Whip cakes sturdy anddense enough to stack? Any help, ideas, thoughts, and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!!!
