Mine just walked through the door! We have a really big mailbox and rarely see our mail lady. She brings me this large box and I'm really perplexed because I can't remember what I've ordered. As I cut open the box, I start thinking - wow, that's bad, hubby is going to kill me because it must have been something I don't need if I already forgot what I ordered...

Then I see the top and recognize it! Ohhhh, we've been waiting on that - I forgot it was time!

Too bad I can't play with it right now. Gotta think of a need for cake balls after my mom's birthday....

I used mine today and it's great! Took a little practice but they turned out awsome.

PROBLEM:

Mine just came today. The top and bottom don't line up at all... the points completely miss each other. Anyone else have this issue and if so, does it mess up the shape?

Mine line up perfectly. I would contact them for a replacement.

I played with it after I posted, and it lines up when pushed to one side and has just enough play to fall into each other a little when it moves.

I doubt that as they don't seem to be having any trouble selling them. Unlike the cricut cake they are very easy to use out of the box.

She is having no trouble selling them. Mine didn't line up exactly and I will need to wait for the replacement parts. She said she is using one of those herself. It doesn't affect the shape, she said, but she will send a replacement.

By the way... great customer service.

She probably sold the test model...because of the new look & that fact that here soon there will be inserts for larger cake pops\\

edited: I misspoke... I would have taken this post down but it didn't give me an option to delete

I saw the newer on that was for sell.

icon_sad.gif I just made square cake pops, but I want round ones. I can't get this to work. Help me.

Check out the photos and read the captions below them on their facebook page (Best Cake Pops). It tells how to adjust the frame to make thicker logs so they will be round insted of square.

OK, maybe they're too thick now. They just break up. Seriously, I could have rolled them by hand by now. How thick do you make the "block?"

How many times are you rolling back and forth?

3 or 4

Try just a couple and see if that helps. Too many times and they fall apart.

OK, 2 rolls and they stayed together.

BUT, they're square again.

ARGH!!!!!!!

I simply do not have the patience for this.

It's reminding me of the Cricut.

Once you cut the block into logs, are the logs the same height and width?
