Hi, you could try brushing them with a lighter shade of petal dust, I cannot think of anything else to suggest. HTH
Depending on the color that you wish to lightened up your flowers, you may want to dust with a luster dust or maybe test on an extra (test flower) try painting white powder food coloring mixed with lemon extract or vodka to lighten. HTH.
I accidentally left my peach roses in a sunny room for a day and they turned yellow . You could try that!
dust them with non-toxic white chalk from a box of artists' pastels. Grate the chalk with a wire mesh strainer to get a fine dust. Then steam the flower lightly to set the dust and eliminate the powdery look. It will give it a bit of sheen as well.
i would like to lighten the color up a bit???
Try dusting with a lighter powder and then steam them gently over a kettle. The other CCers suggestion is good too of mixing with a little lustre dust and lighter colour with alcohol and repaint. If i want to see how a colour comes out I leave a little piece out to dry and check the colour. Same happened to me on pink flowers HTH
