You can post a link for the website without any problem, probably posting the website would be all right too. Janice

Thanks for asking.

It is ok to link to another site that is offering information as long as access to that information is free and is relevent to the topics discussed at cakecentral.

It is also ok to link directly to a product page on another site if:
a) you found a great deal on something and you wanted to share.
or
b) you are replying directly to a member request for information on where to find a product.

Inappropriate links are:

a) linking to a product on another site when that product is available in the cakecentral store.
b) links to products not related to topics discussed at cakecentral.
c) offering your services to another member for a fee.
d) any obvious spam.
e) links to any adult oriented content.

Anytime you want to offer your services to another member for a fee it is best to make that offer via private message rather than posting in the forum.

If there is ever any question on whether or not a post is acceptable, please err on the side of caution and PM Jackie or I and run it by us. We would be happy to discuss it.
