You could always use a character pan like this: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/schroedersbakery/bobbucapan.html

Or, if your really in a hurry, you could do a sheet cake and decorate it with Bob toys. Maybe make a road that they're building.

Good Luck,
Joe

Hi!!
Funny enough, I'm doing a Bob the Builder cake for my twin nephews tonight for their party tomorrow and boy, did I have a hard time finding anything with Bob.
Something is definitely going on with Bob. I checked 3 major stores (WalMart, Zellers and Toys R Us) and NONE of them had any toys of Bob the Builder!!

A lot of the children's websites have even removed Bob from the site!!!

I do have one picture that I used to do a frozen btc transfer with. If you still need it, let me know and I'll try to email it to you.

I thought I was the only one that panicked when it came to doing cakes. This is why I prefer two to three weeks notice to gear myself up. I worry about everything.
Now on to your problem. I have done a Bob cake too, in fact 3 and one I got the pic off the internet and used piping gel to get it on the cake then I decorate it. Another one I used the shaped pan, and I made a small paint brush out of fondant and put it in his hands (like the pic in 2004 Wilton yearbook, pg 41) and the other was just a cake with small figures on it and I made a construction area on it with all the figures. That was my favorite, but of course half of my pics were on the computer and digital camera when the computer went, and the camera had to go for repairs so needless to say I was upset. Anyway, I am sure you can do it, and we are all behind you! "Can you do it?? Yes you can!!!!"
