While it is a good hand held mixer, I would not trade my stand mixer for anything. I had a sm kitchen aid and about 15 years ago my husband puchased me a larger one.

The thing that I found out about the hand held vs the stand Kitchen aid is that the stand mixer can handle more than the hand held I blew a hand held up in about three months so be careful how you spend your money

Not to mention ALL the time you save by being able to walk away from the stand mixer to get other ingredients. Standing there for all that time with the hand held is just so time consuming.

I have blown up some many hand mixers over the years, that I probably could have bought 3 KA stand mixers! I have even blown up one of those $60 sunbeam stand mixers. I finally bit the bullet and bought the KA Professional stand mixer and I have absolutely love it! I got the bright red one and she looks so pretty sitting out on my counter! thumbs_up.gif

Watch amazon and the rebates. I found if you put the KA you want in your amazon cart and just leave it there, they will email you price changes. I finally got a fantastic deal, ordered it, and a few days later it went down $25 more. I emailed amazon and my response was a $25 credit. Great company!

Also with Amazon, different colors have different prices, so be sure to click on every color and watch the price change.
