My first instinct was "Eeek..you'll clog it!!" But I looked around and found an old post on here:

I looked around on the internet also and people have the same feelings. Some people feel that it's okay as long as you clean the airbrush well enough. I'm on the side where I don't trust my cleaning skills, so I'll stick with the airbrush colors. I'm sure other people will have more information though.

PS. I'm really enjoying learning so much on this site!

The problem is not always the liquid coloring it is the pressure of the compressor. Try on a paper towel and see if you do not get spots of color. If not, your good to go clean the airbrush well after use, make sure you remove the needle and clean. Good luck.

I just wondered that same thing last night. I got my new Airmaster in the mail on Saturday, but have not received my airbrush colors. With that being said, I really wanted to try my airbrush out. I knew that regular paste colors have little bits in it so I new would probably clog the airbrush. What I did was add a little vodka, mixed and then sieved in a viva paper towel. Now I just did this so I could play, I have never airbrushed before so I'm not sure how the regular airbrush colors work.
