I am in need of a simple and great strawberry buttercreme recipe that does not require refrigeration. I made Indydebi's buttercreme recipe (delicious! ) Could I just add strawberry jello? I don't have room in my fridge for the cake. Would like to fill tonight, hopefully. TIA!

You can add strawberry jam or preserves, or sleeve strawberry filling to your buttercream.

I puree strawberries then strain out the seeds and add them to Indydeb's buttercream recipe and it works really well.
