Hi ladies and gents,
I'd like to pick your brains if I may...
A customer called asking for a cake for a pregnant friend (having a girl) who is also moving away. It is a going away party so she'd like that theme incorporated somehow. The only design ideas she gave me were that she'd like it to be WHIMSICAL somehow and thats it be pink, purple and yellow. It is only to feed 20 so I am only doing one tier.
Any ideas would be appreciated. TY!

Maybe you could do just 1 tier topsy turvy. I think they still look really neat. there is an album in the gallery for whimsical photos, maybe look through them to gather some ideas. Then you could add girls colors and some baby BLOCKS with the name or something. Just a place to start icon_smile.gif

Thanks! I baked the topsy turvy last night, and I think I might incorporate some fairies and butterflies. Seems whimsical to me!

Maybe you can also incorporate a stork delivering a baby

Take a look if you are interested, it's the last one I added to my photos, and thanks for the advice! I think it turned out pretty well thumbs_up.gif

What a cute cake, Piece_acake! I just wish you had added a picture showing all your lettering, which, btw, is fantastic! I ran across this thread after you'd already posted your cake, but I was going to suggest that the stork have a map in his hands trying to find this little girl's new home. But I really like what you decided to do!
