I covered a cake in fondant, but don't like it and need to redo. Can I take off the fondant that I used, wipe the icing off and reuse it? will the bits icing mix into the fondant ok? Didn't want to waste if I didn't have to. Thanks in advance.

I have done this with small amounts of fondant. You need to make sure you remove as much icing as you can and make sure there are no cake crumbs. Good luck.

I have done this also. If there is a little buttercream still on the fondant after you clean it off, it will blend right into the fondant if you knead it really well before you roll it back out. Good luck!
