Has anyone used the color spray? I need something metallic and was wondering if it comes out matte or metallic. Thanks for the help! I'd rather ask yall than go buy it and hate it!
I have never used it but not too long ago there was a thread about how terrible it was. Try and find that thread. I'm not good with searching but i'm telling you all negative comments about it.
I too needed a silver spray and someone told me about the PME spray. I haven't used it yet, but maybe it would be better.
I've used the spray, and honestly - the worst purchase I made. I have an airbrush, and just wanted something quick to give a "sparkle" so I got the silver Duff spray.
It was shiny - gave a sparkle, but it clogged after a few seconds, then when I got it to work again it "spit" it out in big globs - then it stop working. If you hold it in one spot to long (waiting for the darn thing to work) it will look spray painted and blochy.
HTH - but again, just my opinion and you are better to go with luster dust if you want sparkle.

Duff spray works and I liked it alot. But it did clog alot. Which is really frustrating. I still have a can 3/4 full that I can't seem to get unclogged but I don't want to throw it away
I don't have an airbrush yet and bought some Duff silver spray once - and will never buy it again! It clogged right away. I could not get it to spray for longer than 2 seconds at a time - leaving uneven coverage. There was a thread on this very topic about 2 months ago on here - seemed like most of the other responses/reviews were very similar... hope that helps
Thanks so much for the input! I might try the PME kind. I thought of that, I just have to drive 1 1/2 hrs to get it at the store. I might just stick with the luster dust!! Thanks again everyone!
I purchased Duff's silver spray for accents on a cake. It was a waste of money. Did not achieve a true silver color. Very disappointing.
I see that I should save my money for something else!
Yep.
My favorite by far is Chefmaster Brand...I have NEVER had a problem with this spray.
I bought Duff's once in a pinch...eh...I did not have spray problems, but it seemed to take more to do the job. I was not overly impressed, I will still continue to buy Chefmaster, even at a higher price because its better quality.
Would I buy Duff's again? Prob in another pinch but not voluntarily. I cant believe that he would use it on one of his own cakes either!!!
