Hi guys! I really want to subscribe to a cake decorating magazine but I have banned myself to only one because I never get a chance to read them and they end up sitting in piles for months! Soooo........I decided to get your advice....which cake magazine is the best?

Thanks!

I prefer Mailbox News. American Cake Decorating has too many ads.IMO.

i prefer American cake decorating, because it has the directions.

MBN is good for ideas, but there is little to no directions.

There are some wonderful magazines out of England, but they are very expensive. I haven't ever subscribed to them, but have had a chance to take a look at them. (i think its cake craft or sugar craft) Very expensive around 100 a year

Wilton just ran a special - with their coupon code you could get American Cake decorating and MBN for $42. You may want to go to Wilton's website and see if they are still offering it if you are interested.

LOL adven68. Good luck on this one. I think this was asked a while back and it seems that everyone has reasons why they like one better than the other. I would suggest going to the website and ordering an issue of each and see which you like better. I ordered a subscription to American Cake Decorating Mag and then bought just one issue of Mailbox news. I liked them both! Sorry I know that doesn't help you. icon_smile.gif Good luck and let us know what you decide.

If you call and tell them you want to check out a issue before you subscribe they will send you a copy for free.

Hi!

That Wilton discount is still available. It is listed on the front page of the American Cake decorating website.
