Happy Saturday to ya'all. I am just curious if you are really strict when it comes to measure ingredients. Do you weight them in grams or you just use the regular measure cups? Does that really affects the final results?
Thanks

Baking is a science, so yes you must measure correctly. I measure in ounces, generally by weight.

I've always measured in all my cooking, my friends even joke about it. My daughter bought me the measuring spoons for a smidgen, pinch, and dash so I could be consistent icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

Yep, when baking I am very anal. Pack the brown sugar, sift the flour and then measure, use a glass measuring cup and get eye level, use a straight edge to level dry ingredients, weight ingredients if I have set the recipe up that way. People always comment on what a good baker I am - and then when I share the recipe, they complain that it didn't turn out as well. Hmmm - do you think it might have something to do with how they measure??
