Just wanted to share my day...
A local social network has "giveaways" when they reach membership goals, and I agreed to give away a dozen cupcakes, and they in turn wrote a very nice blog post about my business. Anyways, today I was supposed to deliver the winner's cupcakes. She originally told me to deliver them to her at work today (which was cool with me - all of 3 minutes away) but then sent me a message saying she wasn't at work because her son was sick. I asked her what she would like to do. She sent me a message at 1:45 asking me if I could meet her at 2:00... I couldn't... so I asked if 6:00 would work and she agreed to 6:00 - she couldn't pick them up because she doesn't have a vehicle... So I waited at the pre-arranged time and location for 20 minutes... She never showed up. Knowing that I am going to be out of town the next couple of days, I figured that the cupcakes would be stale by the time she could get them. So I went out to dinner and just gave the cupcakes to the wait staff. The manager loved them so much, he gave me my dinner for free and asked about ordering something for his wife for Valentine's day. A cupcake blessing in disguise!
