I have to make a fondant pitbull for a customer as a cake topper. I tried making one and it didn't look good at all. I've googled everything I could think of to get a picture of a pitbull made of fondant and NOTHING comes up. Does anyone have any links or pictures to help? thanks icon_smile.gif

to widen your search, you might include 'staffy', or 'staffordshire' as staffy's look similar to pitbulls.

I've taken cake-decorating classes in the past...I use to use hi-ratio frosting to get the smooth effects fondant does now...how hard is it to work with fondant?? How many trials will it ACTUALLY take me to get good??

this seems to be in the wrong thread...? But anyway, how long it takes you will depend on how much research you do into your methods. Your question has no answer, there are too many variable factors.
