I know this is probably a silly question but my friend that wants the teapot cake wants daisy's every so often all over the teapot and wondering if I should make them smaller? I usually use the tip I should to make the royal icing daisy's but wonder if I should use a smaller tip and making them smaller. I think the normal size would take away from the teapot shape and look. I promise to post a photo of this cake when I'm finished. You all are giving me great ideas.

I don't see why you couldn't use a smaller tip. The normal tip is 104 right? I would try smaller, it will still look good~

thanks for the idea. yes it uses a 104 which I though was too big, maybe a 102 or 103 is better. I will post it when finished. Have a great day. icon_smile.gif

I just made some small daisies for a baby shower cake using 102 tip, they looked great. I just made the round tip smaller to for doing the center. Really cute after drying on flower formers. icon_smile.gif kate
