How do you add color to SMBC..... when I added color it all separated??? I have looked on the forums and cannot find anything so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't tried this myself..but maybe if you used candy colors that might help because of the fat content of the icing. Maybe someone with a little more experience will chime in. HTH

1of5wives (love the name!) is right, you have to use candy colors that are oil based. If not it looks speckled and the colors don't get vibrant at all.

add the color (for the entire batch) to alittle bowl of smbc, heat it up 10 seconds at a time in the mic (or in a double bowl of hot water) stir and it will come together perfectly. then add it to the entire batch then whisk.....
