What is the best way to put dried gumpaste pieces together? I've made a knife & need to attatch the handle to the blade, thanks.

I've done it by dissolving a small piece of gumpaste in water and then using that as my 'glue'. It has worked for me. Good luck.

Me too, I either dissolve a bit of gum paste or fondant in a bit of water and with a small paint brush I apply it to the decoration I want to "glue" it works wonderfully!

I have used the water softened gumpaste and royal icing. My gp recipe is royal before I add the tylose, so I suppose it is the same thing! I used the softened gp this week to add the blade of a sugar oyster knife to the handle, and it worked like a charm.
