i need to make a cake with a street sign,hamburger and a bug does anybody have any ideas

hmmm, that's some combination. Maybe a picnic table with the hamburger on it and the bug crawling across the table to get to the hamburger. If you do grass under the table, and a sidewalk as the cakeboard, then the street sign next to the sidewalk?

Is there a particular theme or are these just three favorite things of the client?

Getting to know the theme or the request makes it easier for me to come up with a design. Otherwise I think things like a trash can on a street corner with a burger in it and a fly bussing around.

Cownsj has a great idea with the picnic table. You could also get cartoony or funny with it and slap a burger on the back of a catepillar or other bug who's hat says "Burger Barn Delivery", give him a jacket and have him walking the burger down a sidewalk and have the streen sign there.

I would really love to know the backstory to this request!

Make a drive thru burger joint with the street sign near the entrance and a June bug on the windshield.

Interesting. You could make the cake a giant burger that is the restaurant, have the people be "bugs" so you could have June Bug sitting at a table with (ladybug maybe?). and have the parking lot, street, and street sign.

How about a regular cake that looks like the burger joint, but you could paint gumpaste panels where it looks like you see "inside" the restaurant. On one panel you could see out to the street with the said street sign. On another panel you would look in see a boy and girl sitting in a booth, on another you would see the service counter with a couple of baskets of burger and fries, and on the outside of a window you could put a June bug. Call it the outside in cake. LOL

Or you could make a stacked cake and use each layer to tell the story, one layer with the things describing June Bug and have an actual June bug, One layer with things from a burger joint and the street its on.
