GeminiRJ, you really should be selling your cookies on the internet where they will be appreciated and can be sold for the right price. You really have what it takes to succeed in a bigger market. My baking company caters to an upper income market and I wish I was half as talented as you are. That is why I won't offer cookies. Your clean lines show up so well in pictures.

I wouldn't even know where to begin to try to sell cookies online! I'm about as computer illiterate as they come! But thank you for the kind words about my cookies. It's much apprectiated.

Hey...set up an online store...You can do this through Paypal I think..It really isn't that hard....You should consider it!!

I don't know why, but I never got a notice telling me there had been some action on this thread! All your positive comments have been wonderful, but after reading the FDA requirements that were posted on other threads, I don't see how selling on-line would be workable for me. I've been given the opportunity to use a licensed kitchen, so I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on construction on my house to comply, but the hours I would be able to use the kitchen wouldn't be feasible. So.....I guess I'll just continue as a hobbyist, fattening up my family and co-workers!

My cookies are very basic compared to lots I've seen on here (I am the BIGGEST fan of GeminiRJ's work) - I charge £2.25 each and £2.50 if they're personalised.

I'm in London, UK.

Oftentimes this question comes up on here. The price of cookies, cupcakes, and other decorated baked goods will vary from one city/state to another city/state. In New York City the price of decorated cookies will be significantly higher than other places with a lower cost of living and less competition.

My suggestion would be to check prices of cookie decorators and bakeries in your area to see what the going rates are.
