Using A Pasta Machine For Fondant Rolling

My DH bought me a smaal pasta machine to roll out my fondant - saw it on CakeBoss icon_cool.gif .

Any tips on using it? I want to try it out this weekend. thumbs_up.gif

use eaither sugar or corstarch generously before running it threw the machine or it will stick to the metal. and u often have to run ur roller over the fondant afterwards because it tends to get a weird texture on it if any part starts to kinda stick to it. also if u are trying to do a large piece its nice to have an extra set of hands to help u feed it threw. hope that helps! i just got mine at christmas!

what if you are using it with chocolate clay/modeling chocolate?

Hi, i work with a pasta macine with fondand or g/p. I work with modeling chocolate also. I have never used the pasta machine with it. But i found this site and now i will. hth
