Someone wants me to do a cradel cake for them and I am not sure how to do the top curved part of the cradel. I wouldd appreciate and help or suggestions. It needs to be covered in basketweave, but doesn't necessarily have to be edilbe. Thank you.

Ive never made one but , I think Id lay some gp or fondant over a small ball pan cut the gp the shape I want and let it dry. may have to cover the pan with parchment paper to keep it from sticking to the pan . HTH Lisa

I made mine with white chocolate (candy melts). I used a bowl. Chocolate constricts when "dry". Then, I used a warm knife to smooth the edges.
