Stupid Question About Isomalt Jewels

Can they go in the refrigerator? When they come out and the condensation hits, will they melt?
I have a wedding cake (YIPPEE!!) but she wants jewels on it and I'm not sure if she wants SMBC (she forgot to specify) and before I email her back, I'd like to be sure I don't give her wrong information.
If she wants SMBC, I suppose I could add the jewels at the venue....
TIA!
No, they will completely dissolve if you put them in the fridge. I saw this on cakeboss when he tried to make corals for a fish tank cake.
Oh, I'm not making them. I just have to put them on a cake that has to be refrigerated, and didn't want to take it out to deliver and have the jewels dissolve all over my cake. So I guess I'm putting them on at the venue.
