I made cheerleaders out of molding chocolate and then used fondant to make their outfits. Then I used royal icing to add details to the outfits and the face. The royal icing seems to not be sticking to the chocolate well. I tried drawing the faces on with edible markers but the color was not very dark or sharp at all. Any suggestions?

Maybe you could try dabbing a tiny bit of melted chocolate on the part you want to stick on (for the face). Choc sticks to choc. I am surprised that the royal icing is not working - it is a good glue and sticks to almost anything, but I am not that familiar with working with modelling choc. The only time I have is when I used melted choc to stick to it for a pine cone and it worked great! Good luck.. please post pics after!

Thanks! I actually ended up using melted chocolate and then painted it on. That seemed to work great although I am not great with a paint brush. The RI worked, but not well. You had to be very careful with it or it would fall off, so the melted chocolate worked great.
