Hi everyone,

I was asked to make this cake for a girls 13th birthday. I love it and the idea of making it is a challenge I would love to tackle..but I am concerned about the structure and stability of this cake. The cake is alice in wonderland theme and at the bottom of the cake is the cheshire cat along with the hat on top and the teapot with lots of details. I am not sure if i should make the cat in rice crispy treats. Any suggestions you guys may have to execute this cake without a disaster would be greatly appreciated. I am enclosing a pic so you can see what i mean. Thanks again

Heres the link just in case you cant see the pic i tried posting.

I suspect that there is a pvc pipe through the majority of the cake and that the bottom of the hat that is just above the cat (the black rim) is a cake board. It would certainly be easier to make the cat out of rkt but cake could be done too because the rest of the cake is not actually resting on the cat.
