I'm not sure if this has been answered or not but i really need to make a cupcake spiderman pull apart cake and i cant seem to find any information as to how to make on. I was thinking of using a fbct but i really want smooth buttercream and no space between the cupcakes. If any of you guys know how i could do it and what smooth buttercream recipe i could use i would love any information.

You can use the normal BC recipe it will turn out perfectly but make sure you put a drop of BC under each cupcake to hold the whole thing together, & use alot of it (on top) so you can fill the gaps.

I make dozens of these, year in year out. Trick is to slot them together so there are virtually no gaps between. I alternate rows of 4 and 5 cupcakes. I've tried to go into my gallery to attach a couple of examples, but I can't get past the first page. If you go to my website: www.queeniescakes.com, you'll find a whole gallery there of them icon_smile.gif.

I have been asked to do a cupcake cake also. My question is more about how to get flat tops on my cupcakes. Mine usually bake up with a dome. Any hints?

Gingoodies...When the cupcakes come out of the oven...Flatten them right away with a heavy cutting board fon top of the cupcake pan for about 5 seconds..That's how you get them flat!!
