Recipe For Caramel Macchiato Cupcakes And Frosting.

I have a bride that would like Caramel Macchiato Cupcakes, however all of the recipes that I have found want a whip cream topping and since this is a May wedding I would prefer to use something that is less prone to melting in the heat. If you have any suggestions for the cake and frosting recipes I would appreciate it.
