I tried to bake cookies for a bouquet with the wilton sticks inserted. The sticks weren't set far enough into the cookie, so they have separated from the cookie.
What is the most secure way to attach the stick to the cookie or cello bag?
Your help is much appreciated, as I'd love not to have to rebake the batch! Thanks!!
I'm not an expert on cookies on a stick.. but you can attach the stick with some royal icing on the back of the cookie. I'm sure the bouquet pro's are out there somewhere.
Good Luck
I dip the stick in water, than lay it on the cookie and push down. Then I pinch the dough together over the stick. They stick so well, you literally have to eat the cookie off of the stick. HTH
If you don't want to rebake the cookies, put them in cello bags and hot glue sticks to the bag on the backside of the cookies. You can use wood skewer sticks or chopsticks - both available at 99 cent stores.
