Submitting a recipe

I think it might be a good idea, if it's possible, when submitting a new recipe could we have a option to add a picture?

And, just for curiosity, why it takes days when new recipe appear?

I can't help with the first one, but as for the second one. The admins of the site (Heath and Jackie) have to set up a new page for the recipe and make sure that it is formatted correctly. That stage is done manually by them (last i was told) so it takes time for them to do that, expecially when they're working on fixing the bugs on the site also.

Zlatka and Leily, Check out the avatars you each have, it looks like Leily made a cookie of Zlatka's dog. Kinda cool.

That would be wonderful. I love this site, but I believe it can use an appearance improvement and ease of accces too, and they also can add a few more features like the one you said!!!

I ve had issues submitting my recipes, I post it and then it doesnt give me the message you usually get when it has gone through. Sometimes I've had to type the recipe 2-3 times.

The old recipes section was the subject of quite a few suggestions lamenting the inability to add comments in addition to a rating...

We now have an updated recipes section which allows comments as well as ratings. And the new version is often viewed less favorably than the old format (because the search feature is perceived as less effective and/or user friendly).

Subsequently more than a few members have expressed a desire to have the old format back - but it's gone....
