Freezing cake pops

Hi
I'm new to cake pops and would like to know if I can freeze the balls of cake and then dip them in the chocolate when I need them. Thanks icon_smile.gif

Yes, you can totaly do that. I let them sit in the freezer for about 15 min. then put them in saran wrap and then a freezer bag.

Some say not to because the chocolate coating will crack after they have hardened.Others have had great success..Try it!

If they are completely frozen when you need to dip them, I'd let them sit at room temperature for a little while. You don't want them hard as a rock when you dip. You WILL have trouble with your chocolate.

You can freeze them until you are ready to use them but make sure you thaw them completely in the fridge before dipping them or they WILL crack!
