Almond Bark

I know this is probably a crazy question, but besides pretzels what are some things you can make with almond bark? I am making gingerbread men, cookies with my cookie press, and I was wanting to make something odd and nifty with the almond bark I have.

Any ideas?

I like melting it and mixing it with Chex Rice cereal and adding walnuts. It is so good! I have nto had that in a while as I can not find white almond bark here in Japan.

I make "bacon and eggs". Spread a small amount of white almond bark into a circle shape, add 2 yellow M&M's and break a pretzel stick in half for the bacon. Super cute!

I also cover peanut butter ritz crackers in the chocolate almond bark. Kind of ordinary but delicious!

one of my favorites is to crush up candy canes (i buy them on clearence after christmas for the next year) and mix them into melted almond bark (i prefer white, but lots of people in my family like the chocolate) for peperment bark.

I like to make all kinds of bark.
Tigertale Bark
Melt chocolate, pour onto parchment lined baking sheet. Before it sets up, drizzle with peaanutbutter flavored candy wafers melted, then white chocolate.
Chritmas Bark
Melt white candy melts, pour onto sheet, just before it sets up sprinkle with dries cranberries and pistacio nuts.
Skor More Bark
Melt dark chocolate wafers, pour onto sheet. Then chrush up any kind of chocolate bar and sprinkle on top. I lke to use Skor's, Crispy Crunch, or toffee bits.
Break into pieces after they set and bag into pretty gift bags.

I use it all the time. Don't know what I'd do without it!!! This is what I use it the most for:
2 lbs white almond bark
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups rice crispies cereal
16 oz dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

I also make peanut butter ritz sandwiches and dip them in melted almond bark. HTH! icon_biggrin.gif

I have tried a few that I like (although I usually use tempered chocolate). I would mix in broken Oreos in white, nuts and raisins/craisins, graham cracker and marshmallow, Ferrero Rocher and and macadamia, broken chocolate chip cookies, praline a few more others. I really love making them for dessert tables.

I use almond bark in my cake recipe where it calls for chocolate. Instead of using white chocolate chunks that can be really pricey I use White Almond Bark... Turns out great.
