I found this online and cakesupplies4u is selling it for $34.99 for a 10lb bucket, plus another 35% off at check out by putting in the promo code of wimzy. Has anyone ever used it? Sounds like a screaming deal if it tastes good and is easy to work with.

Wow, that's about $23 for the bucket! Now I'm curious about it, too.

I bought this fondant because I wanted to try something different than Wilton and Satin Ice. Wilton doesn't taste great without flavoring and you can't buy it in bulk and Satin Ice tastes great, but it dries super fast. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this stuff and I'm actually in the process of getting a refund for it. It tastes good, but has no elasticity and is completely unworkable. It torn so many times, no matter what I tried to do with it! Never had this problem before. Then it turned green when I used Wilton's black gel food coloring... also never had this problem, but I assume it's a chemical reaction. It has a few more ingredients that Satin Ice doesn't. Lastly, there were pieces of cardboard box mixed in with the fondant... from the factory I guess.

If anyone has any positive experiences with this, please let me know what you did. I may or may not get a refund, but would hate to be stuck with a 20-lb bucket and now have any use for it!!!

Wow! I bought this and liked the taste. I used it to cover a cake and it worked like a DREAM for me. I covered a cake so quickly, so easily, with no tears, no bunching, and no cracks. The ONLY downside for me was that sometimes, there would be annoying hard lumps of sugar occasionally.

I was curious if anyone had tried it. I saw their ad here on CC. So far we've got 1 good and 1 bad review...I need a tie breaker to decide if I want to buyicon_smile.gif The price is fantastic but if it is hard to work with...what's the point.

It was off the market for awhile because they were trying to fix some issues with it. As I had mentioned before, I really liked working with it. Now that it no longer has any of those annoying sugar lumps in it, I love it and it is one of the two fondants that I will use. Hope this helps. I would just recommend trying it, it is a personal preference. I tried fondx and elite since I heard so many people raving about it and I didn't like those.

Shipping depends on where you are located. Cakesupplies4u is in Greenville, SC and ships via UPS. Their shipping is always really fast and very reasonable!

If date of the coupon post was December. Even without the coupon it's a decent price. Satin Ice runs me $20 for a 2 lb bucket.
