OhMyGoodies -- you will be able to use your key to download CakeBoss onto multiple computers. However, since the information you enter is stored on the hard drive, you will have to enter all your data onto each individual computer. Make sense?

As far as we know, renewal will be the same time every year, ie: if you pay the $60, your renewal will be 12 months from the date you paid.

Yes Kelley made perfect sense! icon_smile.gif Right now I have all of my recipes and paperwork on the laptop so I'm thinking it may just be easier to leave it there and use the laptop as it was intended when purchased for my business! lol Hubby tells me all the time when I bring up that I'll have to transfer/copy files to the desktop when we move for the business and he says "I bought you the laptop for the business why transfer it!? If you need a printer to go with the laptop I'll get you one" lol which would be the only reason to transfer stuff lol. icon_smile.gif

But thanks for filling that gap for me incase I do decide to put CakeBoss on the desktop or have to for some reason icon_biggrin.gif

I just signed up as a Beta tester also. I forgot to ask if this will work with Windows Vista Premium? My dh let me get a laptop for my business, and this is the system it came with. I am so excited to do this, since I am a computer geek, and hate doing things with paper.

At this point in time, the application will probably not run successfully on Vista due to some issues with the SQL Install on Vista with security privileges. There is recent information that the problem may have been solved by Microsoft, which we will be investigating very soon. At this time, we don't think the application will work properly on a Vista machine. We will work to resolve this as soon as possible!

I just wanted to update everyone on our progress! We have just implemented the last major go-live feature -- the Pricing Calculator! The Pricing Calculator easily lets you add up your costs for an order, including materials and hourly labor. Hopefully this will help with that age-old question "How much should I charge for this cake?", and, helps us all to STOP underpricing ourselves!

We still need Beta users to help us test the calculator. We plan on going live very soon, so if you are not a Beta user and you would like to be, now is the time to sign up! Remember, all Beta users receive one month of CakeBoss free, so this is a great opportunity to try it out at no risk!

Hello everyone. I'm not sure I am in the right spot for posting this but I purchased the cake boss and was wondering how long it takes to get the confirmation email to start using it....I'm very excited and eager to use it!!I have been a member of this sight for awhile and just recently really starting posting pics and such....YES...I AM OFFICIALLY ADDICTED!!THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT INFO ON HERE!!
