Does anyone have a really good gingerbread recipe? I tried making a chocolate gingerbread recipe and it was so dry and tasted bad! Thanks

Go to Wilton.com and try that recipe-I have had good results from that one.

My all time favorite is from Martha Stewart. Here's the link

My current gingerbread is a little hard to work with because the molasses makes it get soft and sticky much more quickly than my sugar recipe. Does the Martha recipe have those issues?

I don't like the flavour of molasses so I found these recipes and LUV them. The first one is softer and better for cookies (uses butterscotch pudding):

This one is better for houses:

I use Mrs. Fields recipe, stays moist, but hardens enough to decorate.

I spent years trying out recipes and not liking the results. This year I tried this one from Martha Stewart and loved loved loved it. Excellent taste, they hold their shape and keep well.

I do the same thing with this dough as with the sugar cookie dough; I roll between parchment paper and place in fridge to chill before cutting. HTH icon_smile.gif
