I need to make a cake that looks like a bale of hay. Thought I would bake an 8" square, cut it in half and stack them.

What ideas do you have for making it look like a bale of hay?

jammjenks made one here and has it posted in their photos. Maybe you can contact them and ask them for some help and suggestions.

lucymagoosey and mdurbin1961 also has a photo posted that looks pretty nice too.

Just a thought, maybe use buttercream & size 4 or 5 tip to cover your cake. Then wrap brown fondant as twine on the ends.

I would bake it in bread pans, as it's a true rectangle. That's what I did for my lego cake.
