my cousin's dog is 1 and they want to have a bday party. she asked me to make a cake for us (not the dog)...i don't have any ideas on what to do. I thought of a dog bone cake, but can't seem to find template to cut the sheet cake into that shape.
help pls[/b]

I think the dog house cakes are really cute! It can be a simpler 2D or a 3D cake. You could put the dog's name on the house. You can also buy that 3D small house pan. And you can adapt to the serving size you need. Here are some examples:

A doggy dish is cute..there are lots of pictures of those!

Maybe just a cake with paw prints around it and a little modeled dog on the top..

Having two dogs, I often make them "pupcakes" (dog friendly cakes) in my bone shaped pans. They make small, large, and even bone muffin pans. A lot of different places sell them. I'm thinking of buying the dog bone muffin pan next. icon_cool.gif
