The Wilton serving chart that I always reference doesn't show pan sizes smaller than 6" - unless there is a different Wilton chart I don't know about. At any rate, what's the average amount of servings yielded from a 4 inch cake pan? Thanks in advace. icon_biggrin.gif

A 4" square cake serves 8 (1x2x4 pieces), so a 4" round would serve 8 or less.

Well it all depends on whos cutting the cake.
It could be 8 if cut properly.
4 if my mom cuts it
1 if its for myself. I eat cake everyday. Love it!

If Im cutting is 8. If my husband is cutting, there is no cutting. He assumes that is his personal cake. icon_biggrin.gif

I just do the math for cake sizes that aren't on the wilton chart. First you have to figure out the cubic inches of the cake, then divide by 8 cubic inches (the standard serving size) to get a total of 6 servings out of a 4" round cake that is 4" high (it only serves 3 if you're doing a 2" high one.)

HTH

4" tall ROUND cakes
2" serves 1"
3" serves 3
4" serves 6
5" serves 9
